It works, but I was hoping it would be able to handle loud sounds better than the onboard mic on the EVO 4G. It sounded pretty much the same, distorting when I try to record my band. I have an app that allows me to turn down the input volume and it still distorts, so I believe it is the mic not being able to handle it. I could be wrong. For people just wanting to record voice, it should work. For me it wasn't the answer.
