INSTRUCTIONS:
Mounting on glass or smooth surface:
Insert and glide the adhesive base into the notch on the adjustable holder. Make sure it snaps into place. Choose a smooth surface to apply the adhesive base that will also provide easy access to your device. Clean the surface thoroughly where cradle will be mounted. For best results, use an alcohol pad to remove any oil or dirt. Allow to dry completely. Peel adhesive tape and apply the base to the surface of the cleaned area. Apply pressure to the cradle and base for approximately 30 seconds. Once adhesive is applied on a surface, it cannot be used again. To remove the adhesive base from the cradle, push down on the notch in the cradle, and slide the base out
Mounting to air vent:
Insert and glide the air vent clip into the top of the cradle, by matching the slots in the tracks. Make sure it snaps into place. Locate an air vent that will provide easy access to your device. There are two sets of clips that are to be inserted into the vent panel. To remove the cradle from the air vent, spread apart the top and bottom clips and pull cradle out. To release the air vent clip, push down on the notch in the cradle while sliding the clip up and out.
Securing and releasing your device:
Push the button on the left side of the cradle and the right arm will pop open. Insert your device in the holder and rest it on the bottom ledge. Squeeze the right arm of the cradle until your device is secure. DO NOT MANUALLY PULL APART THE CRADLE ARMS. USE THE BUTTON ON THE LEFT TO RELEASE YOUR DEVICE.

. 01 Apr, 2009 This item was good. I put it on my desk, the bottom has an optional sticker which you can choose to stick the holder on some place or just leave it. Hold my W580i in a good place.

Alvin . 30 May, 2009 There are flashes on the holder, and there is also a buttone on the back to turn on/off the flashes.
But the flashes are for decoration only, they can not sense the signal for incoming calls.
Item was great to hold phone on the desk or in the car.
