Genie . 26 Jul, 2011 Unit is very quiet and works well. Only problem is that this unit is NOT made to go in the VGC-RA820G. Mine hangs outside of the tower. Sony makes a very specific shaped psu and this is not it despite what their advertisement indicates. I double checked with cellularfactory to confirm this one was made for my specific sony and I was assured it was. The tech guy was wrong. If you want one rigged outside of your tower, this is the one for you. If you want one that fits in the 820G, keep looking....

mark . 27 Sep, 2012 I haven't installed it yet. My wife has and I have work to finish before I tear it down. Shippping was fast and it looks good. Very large fan blades.
