Right choice
Pros: Good design, compact and cute, great connecting, nice features.
Cons: Nothing
Overall: Really a nice cute charger, I like to use it to charge my ipod. And the charge speed is very rapidly, So I think it is a good choice to buy this charger.

Dana . 21 Jun, 2011 Purchased primarily as companion accessory to my GPS - allows charging from a standard 110 AC source in combination w/ your 12v (DC) car charger. Great for charging low power devices indoors - at home or while traveling, when out of vehicle. So far so good - can't comment on longevity or durabilty yet. Last one of these things I purchased, (else-where) lasted only 3 uses before system failure & being tossed in trash. Honestly, this model is beefier & seems better constructed vs other unit - however, this adapter is not "UL" approved either. I did buy 2 - still cheaper than OEM acc. from Garmin. {I plug this adapter into outlet first - look for LED power light - connect my device last....just in case of poor circuitry in room or outlet receptacle. Much rather see this adapter suffer damage vs my GPs. <> Listed Output specs are accurate = 12 VDC . . 600 mAh}

I had many items that came with a lighter adapter but was never able to charge things in my home. Thankds to this adapter i use the car adapters for everything now thanks to this item.
